I think it stays alive longer in the air then we think. I know way too many people whom have had it.

I think there are WAY more people who have had it and mistook mild symptoms or had no symptoms at all.

Yeah, but the question remains....how many people did they unknowingly infect who didn't just shrug it off?

Data is emerging that viral load is crucial. I.E. the less load, the less your symptoms, and the less virus you shed. Very few if any actual confirmed cases of assymptomatic carriers spreading the virus.

I had it back in Oct. Only had loss of taste and smell. Took over 3 weeks to be able to start tasting and smelling things. Slowly back to normal.

The rest of the extended family got it right around Christmas. Some had it worse than others. Everyone getting over it, some faster than others.

Brother was telling me that when you lose your taste and smell the rona actually attacked the nerves and killed them where they attach to your taste and smell receptors. And that the nerves have to regrow. That explains why some folks take longer and some don't get it all back.

It might also explain why my Mother In-law thinks chicken nuggets from that Fil'a place taste bad now. Hers might have cross wired!

After avoiding the virus for two years and being vaxxed, along with dealing with other problems, my wife and I are laid up with the rona, luckily it's been mild, light fever and congestion. Glad we bought some test kits a few months back, cause you can't find them now.

Wife came down with it a couple days after I had it and she lost taste and smell for a couple days, but other than that, very mild.

I attribute that to the zinc gluconate, vitamin D3, and the Quercetin I take every day.

Since I began this regimen several years ago, I have noticed that colds, influenza, and other respiratory viruses don't seem to be nearly as bad, or last nearly as long.

And since I've started this, the times I have been sick, my nose never runs so much that it is stopped up and I have to either breathe through my mouth or use Afrin nose spray.

To me, not being able to breathe through your nose is just about the worst symptom of a cold.

We've been putting Zinc drops in our water for the past several days along with vitamin C & D.
