july 4th in our small town

Unread post by 199th mp » July 5th, 2020, 6:34 am

all our usual events were cancelled here, and we weren't too crazy about it. we got 15 military vehicles together, had a static display for a while, then drove our own parade route through town, on out past the hospital, and then made a circuit through the retirement community. they knew we were coming, and seemed to enjoy it, all sitting outside to wave and watch.i drove an A2, with an MP sign i made stuck in the windshield, and blocked traffic at the intersections so we could pass through together. everyone went along with it, no one gave us any grief. small town life, eh?

Yep...make your own fun. It's great to still be a kid, eh? It's just that the toys are bigger.

Cheers,
