Graves Mt 2020??

Unread post by csmith » June 28th, 2020, 12:09 pm

What is the latest on Graves this summer, is it going to be held? If so who's planning to go? I was planning on attending and bringing a friend with a 50's Willis.

I just got my paperwork last week or Saturday. It is on. I don't know if I am going to make it or not, been a rough couple of years and I fell way behind on vehicle maintenance. The RV needs all new tires, exhaust and batteries. That is 6 tires, three batteries and headers and dual exhaust not to mention a TON of exterior and interior work. I may look into a cabin but the last few years I have just been a bit put off by the trail ride situation. I want to go on nice trail rides and note all out off road adventures. Plus my wife needs a bathroom occasionally and she is just getting to old to "go find a tree to hide behind" in mountain terrain. And I am not in much better shape after the cancer although I am not really that shy, I do try to keep from embarrassing the wife and others. So the last couple years we basically just sat around the campsite for most of the time there. Which was nice but still, a lot of money to just go there and watch others play.

Yea I just got mine in the mail that night. We do our own trail rides and seldom with the groups. Have not been in a few years so looking forward to going this year. If you go and don't bring a jeep your welcome to ride with me!

Whatever "Graves" is, I'm guessing it's somewhere back east ,well out of range for me out west in Kalifornia.

That would be just a little bit of a ride to get there for you Bucolic! About 3,000 miles worth!!! But you would definitely win the longest distance award.
