No way--Go Army, Beat Navy!

The Army/Navy game is like Auburn/Alabama each year: records leading up to the game don't really matter. I will be a great, competitive game. I, for one, just enjoy bearing witness to it. I like to see an Army win, but just seeing a bunch of 22 year-olds with their collective heart in the right place and ready to put service before self is enough for me. Let's just say i put a lot of "hope" on that stadium full of future leaders.

Ok, I turned it off. That quarterback you guys have this year is something else. That and Army just could not seem to figure out that pass meant run and had no defense for it. There is always next year. I was not aware that Army had lost so many quarterbacks this year to injury. Is it just me or has anyone else noticed that the more they try to make football safer with all of these rules and stuff the more players get hurt? I stopped watching NFL because the game is just not what football used to be. It is getting like baseball, megamillion dollar players who get hurt on the first game they play and sit out the rest of the year. And when a game is played they can't really play the game because any contact draws a foul. Haven't watched baseball since the first strike they had and football is now on the hit list. I have watched three games this year including this one which I turned off early.

Well, this guy was a senior so you won't have him but I have to say that this year you guys had a two man football team! Army was as lost this year as you were last year. There were a LOT of bad coaching calls on the Army side I think. The run simply was not going to happen, no way no how. At some point they simply needed to start putting it in the air, what would they have to lose? What they were already losing, the game?
