Guys,
I stumbled on a complete Test Set, Tachometer, Dwell and it jumped into my car. Set made by AUL Instruments Inc.
The TM is 9-4910-700-14&P, June 1981
NSN is 4910-00-788-8549
What are the capabilities and power range for a set like this? The power references only show 12 volt, not 12 /24. Has all cables but would still require a spark plug adapter which is not part of the set.
Any workable info for this?

Re: Test Set Tachometer/Dwell
I have a commercial Sears Penske set from the 1970's. It works just fine on our 24v systems. I just hooked mine up to one battery versus two. This site recommends connecting to battery closest to ground for yours which is what I do on mine and have had no problems...

You can hunt for a spark plug adapter or do what I did and just cut the ends off a regular spark plug wire. Strip some insulation back and ball up the wire so it makes good contact in the distributor/spark plug and use some electrical tape around the wire to beef it up to center in spark plug and then add some at the threads on each end to hold in place.
Edit - I see an adapter on ebay overseas for $60+. I have seen in the past the whole adapter set come up for less on Craigslist down near Mobile, Alabama the last year or so on and off again. No one I guess was interested for the longest time. May come up again???
