Re: Too hot for anything
Oh I can hack the heat better than minus 20---30 F temps
Oh I can remember working in 115 degrees in Oklahoma or Missouri,at 29 Palms it was hotter, but drier heat.Had to keep drinking water, still would cramp up some times

Re: Too hot for anything
I have spent the last three days working outside, sun up to sun down...just to get what I want. 'Merica!
Re: Too hot for anything
I'm absolutely cooked.
Re: Too hot for anything
It is going to be sitting right at or a couple above a hundred the rest of the week here. Problem is that the humidity is above 50% which spikes the heat index. The heat index yesterday when it was 100 was an index of 115. You sweat but it does not evaporate. I had no problem at all with this when I was younger, can't do it anymore.

I'd rather mow my grass a hundred times than blade the snow on my driveway once.

I would think most people along those major rivers in the midwest don't want to see another boat for a couple years considering it is the only way to have gotten around for months now. Cold you can layer more cloths on but heat, you can only take off so much before parents start yanking their kids inside and old ladies start following you around and smiling! Somehow the 66 year old body just don't look like the 26 year old body did at the same weight.

I wonder how many members here felt the flood effect ?. Nobody I know anyway. I hear St. Louis is suffering.

Re: Too hot for anything
Bunch of lightweights. No dry heat down here! Humidity percentage is just as high as the temps Sometimes it feels even higher.

Things are about to get really hot for the Iranians if they don't lighten up. Check the news.
