Unread post by uniform » February 27th, 2019, 10:47 am

Can anyone tell me the best place to order M151A1 parts. im not having much luck in contacting some of the suppliers from the resource list on here. Just looking for basic repair parts like brake shoes, brake hoses, master cylinder, rubber boot kits, data plates, , any guidance is greatly appreciated, thanks

Try Frontline Military Vehicles for parts.
A good guy and reliable source.

Then there is
Rapco - http://www.rapcoparts.com/

AJP - https://www.armyjeepparts.com/
Big Mike's - https://www.bigmikesmotorpool.com/

Surveyor, Big Mikes used to be right around the corner from me but he moved out to Colorado I think and I have not heard from him since. He might be active on Steel Soldiers but I have not looked. Those numbers for him will not be good though.

There is also tnj Murray. They can be pricey, but have a lot of good parts

And I just ordered from them... mind is slipping. It's hit or miss on who has the cheaper parts but then you have to factor in shipping if you go for multiple vendors. Wasn't that long ago I picked up a couple of door frames from TJM for around $20 apiece plus shipping. Cheapest I could find in my searches. Now it looks like they are up to $40.

Rick - I also ordered from Big Mike's through the website recently for some banjo washers for MC. Came in pretty quickly with no problems.

Ok, I guess he is still operating his store from wherever he moved to. I miss having him right nearby. He had M37 parts and I had planned on getting a bunch of stuff from him since he was five minutes away.

These are the two I have use over the last 10 years.

Owens Export, Steve Owens stevek@owens-export.com based in CA, have not talked to him in years but he was the first vendor I used, don't see many here use him but he was a great resource. They supply most of the MV used in Hollywood movies, I never asked for something he did not have.

Red River, Blake Callaway, bcallaway@redriverparts.com , TX used them many times over the last 6 years, usually had what I needed and prices fair.

Also, Thomas Hibiske has been selling parts on the site lately, he is a owner with a large fleet of MV's selling off parts, great guy, if he has what you want can't go wrong.

I am sure all the others are great also.
