Unlike HUMVEE’s I am not seeing anything about off road use only the listing show they will be transferred by SF97.

I see the SF-97 but I will bet you will not find anyplace that will register one for the road. No DOT seat belts in the front and no seat belts at all in the rear. No fenders and no side occupant protection. Rear steering and hydraulic steering are illegal on the road. Will someone pull it off? Yea, probably, but will it actually be legal? no, I doubt it. Wait till someone gets hurt in an accident with one and watch what happens.

Well, the sale is over. They brought the following prices - $35,100, $36,500, $36,400, $35,200 and $37,700! Pretty expensive for a paddock basher but probably worth it as a unique military collectable - assuming they do not now flood the market with many more.

As I thought on the prices, more than a HMMWV and you will not be able to drive it on the road. Not at all worth it to me. Very rich boys toy!!!

People wanting something that is rare and possibly very valuable in the future even though it was a failure in the present.

Think the Frazer.

A few years ago during Navy week in New Orleans I took a tour of the USS Wasp amphibious assault ship and there were several Growlers on display on the flight deck. There were both 2 seat and longer 4 seat models. It was the first time I had ever seen or heard of them.

I don't think they made four seat Growlers, Are you sure they weren't the Rayzers?
