Shunk is only about 25 miles west of the cabin I used to practically live at summer and winter for many years just outside of Forkston on the other side of Dushore from where you were. Dushore is where we went to get our "cave cold" beer. Stored in an old mine.

Utilizing the A2 today for ladder transport. Have a pickup truck but this makes it fun.

Careful, Those bows aren't the strongest things around. I would use the cage.

I evaluated the structural integrity of the set up and felt I was well with in the safety factor. Mission accomplished so my assumptions were correct. :)

And if they weren't I think you know someone who could supply the needed parts.

Nah, the bows will hold that solo ladder easily but a point well made for the uninitiated. Typically bows aren't for loads.

Todays ride was totally unplanned and happened later in the day. Probably did around 85 miles, weather was perfect. The CJ5 has a chevy 350 so he did alot better on the uphill sections of the journey! Trip was South of Mansfield towards Trout Run area. I've never ventured on these back roads before so it was all new scenery. The 151 is alot like motorcycle riding - you get to see things you normally wouldn't.

And a few more from today. We were in Gettysburg last week for a day. This old church that we saw today has 2 Civil War Veterans buried on the property.

That is a really nice CJ! Since property prices have skyrocketed down south I am thinking of looking back where I lived before up your way. Some really nice property up there. Not quite as 2A friendly as down south but a lot better than NJ!

Gettysburg is on my list of places I would like to visit. Last time I went to a Civil War site, I rode though the battle grounds on My Horse. It was in Pea Ridge Ark. I renamed it Tick Ridge. I must have had over 100 Ticks on me and my Horse. That was the price I paid to pick Mushrooms. !!

This caught my eye in Gettysburg. Unfortunately, they were closed the day we were there.

Did the longest day trip yet in the A2. 234 miles! We left at 9 am and returned a little after 8 pm. Made multiple stops. The A2 didn't miss a beat. Had the doors on till about 1 pm as it was a little cool.
