M170 & M151A2 Canvas

Unread post by Legio3Arty » July 28th, 2016, 3:47 pm

Well, I went out and wasted my lunch money on a bunch of smelly old canvas. (At least that's what my dear wife would say) I now have a full set of canvas for an M718, an older canvas roof for an A2 and a bunch of doors. I saw those the other day on craigslist but they are for M170 not M718.

Does this mean you are selling it or you are telling us that you have it? Was the stuff you traded away the swiss controls ignitions?

As Hambone so astutely pointed out, the Medic canvas is M170 not M718. Both, along with the curtains and doors will be going up for sale soon after I figure out general shipping costs and a fair asking price. Any suggestions? Don't worry rickf, I didn't get rid of all the ignition modules. I'll be putting a bunch of stuff, a mix of NOS and take-offs in the coming days. I just need time to sort it all out and figure what I need to keep for mine. You know how the Universal Law of Spare Parts goes,
"If you have one on the shelf, you'll never need it. Unless you get rid of it, then it is certain to fail and you will pay twice as much for a replacement."

I could use the canvas A2 set for my early Ford...
