The power's just not getting to the ground????

Unread post by cstaup » March 21st, 2008, 5:30 pm

We can't really figure out what the problem is.

Clutch slipping?

Bad U-Joints?

Josh tried giving the driver's a push down but it didn't work very well.

Any help would be appreciated..

All in all that body isn't in that bad of shape. Should be a good rebuild for you.
Keep us posted we love pics.

Look at all the holes on the rear end. I plan on filling all that serve no purpose. Not to mention the pounds of bondo and Kentucky road signs (aka hilbilly floorboards).

Your are right k8icu, all in all it is a quality MUTT despite being cut. You'll hardly even know that it was cut after we are through with it.

KY road signs. Way back before I retired I had the job of flying the Gov. of KY. They came out with a bumper sticker campain were all state vehicles had to put a bumper sticker on our vehicles. I resisted until the end, and after much fussing I complied. We'll some of us found out that if you took a strong cleaner to the bumper sticker it would fade it out.

One day when the Gov. was getting out of his car he mentioned to me that my sticker was faided. I asked him what the possibility was for getting a few more. He stated that I only needed one. I told him that the material was so strong I wanted to put them on my truck floor boards. He didn't see the humor in it. Lucky for me we got along very good and nothing else was said. I've got some spots on the bottom of my MUTT that I could use some of those bumper stickers or maybe a KY road sign.
