Zlxo, there was a listing on eBay for a MT1029 with the M151 sponson plate attached for $65 if you already have the 1029, you could sell it and keep the plate and come out ahead.

Re: MT-1029 Mounting Plate
Got my two plates, hope you got yours. Looks like we will need some sort of support leg or strap as this plate needs to mount half on and half forward of the rear wheel well to allow rear seat functionality. So bolt onto the outer lip of the tub, two bolts in the 45 degree plate into the inner side of the wheel well and a support leg on the forward hole.
If you find antying out about the support leg or arm, let me know as we will need to fabricate two and can make one for you if you need it as well.

Re: MT-1029 Mounting Plate
the support leg is pretty easy to make, but i chose to mount the radio farther to the rear, in order to make it easier to enter and exit through the passenger access area, since i usually had the top installed. as you pointed out, that meant i couldn't fold the rear seat up, but that was not important to me. the MP jeep i drove in the nam was installed that way also, but we never had tops, since we had the 60 mount.
Re: MT-1029 Mounting Plate
If you are planning on mounting the 442 receiver next to the 524 then you will want to mount it in the forward position.

Yes I received mine and it was used, I thought they were suppose to be new, oh well. I think I have a new support leg/bar I will have to look, will post up dimensions if I have it.
