1967 M151A1 for sale free east coast delivery next week!

Unread post by Vzike » October 24th, 2020, 9:48 am

I just picked up my 1967 M151A1 and will be rolling slowly south from MA to PA today. Next week I’ll leave PA, and drive back to FL. I can go either I-95 or I-81, an will drop it off if reasonable. Great condition. PM or email me if interested. I can pull it off eBay if we make a deal.

Pics etc are on the eBay link

Looks like it will be I-81. Otherwise I’d take you up on that. Did you see how I put the M416 in the pickup?

No, I didn't see any pics anywhere of the 416?

Sorry, I can’t get the photo to load here on my phone. I put 4 2X4s across the bed of the pick up, above the wheel well. Flipped the trailer on its back, and set it inside the bed,,,, Lynette sticking out the back.

Adapt, Improvise, Overcome! Much better to have the lunette sticking out the back than out the front!!!

And you did this by yourself correct?

No, not by myself. I can't flip a 416 on my own. A guy helped me. He and I lifted the tongue and got it up on the end. Then leaned it back to the balance point. I got on the other side and took the weight. He came around, and we lowered it to its back. He got his skid loader with forks on it. We put a 4X4 under the springs and he lifted it straight up. I backed the pickup under it and he lowered it in.

I just emailed the picture of the upside down trailer in the back of the pickup. Put it on here if you can.

I'll bring it to the garage in Florida. We'll sling it and lift it off with a two post lift. I'll use the lift to flip it back on it's wheels, and bring it home.

Trailer loading and problem solving skills that were no doubt honed in the Camp Mackall, NC area...
