M151A2 Encore/Titan for sale New Build

Unread post by Vzike » October 12th, 2020, 11:19 am

Here is a link to the Titan I built. It has a professionally rebuilt engine. Gvt rebuilt tranny, NOS diffs, new brakes, ball joints, wire harness, lights, everything. If interested, I want to fund my next project, so it is up for sale, and I'll give an ear to every offer!!!!

Nice looking truck. It appears that they were built with NOS toe boards?

Vin, The second picture of the body alone appears to be a Titan With the squared footwell opening and front fenders while all the other pics are an Encore. The Encore is the only aftermarket to use the footwell opening and front fenders of the original 151. I am a little confused.

Did you trim the fenders and footwells? I hope mine would bring half that. :D

Me too ??? But I am no expert. Why the deep fording kit ? Do both after market bodies have tailgates ?

Yes, yes I did!!!! I hate the square front fenders and the straight foot entry sucks... Guy hooked me up with the fix parts!

Both Encore and Titan have open square open backs. I fabricated the tailgate on this one.

Why the fording kit??? ... cuz I had the parts kickin around and no one wanted them. I figured it would look cool and make it sell quick... so much for that idea!!!

This body was #018 off the production line ("018" welded inside the passenger back fender well). I had to re-align a lot of the holes to get the suspension correct. I suspect a lot of the Titans has suspension issues if that was not corrected..

The body is 11 gauge. It was stored under a roof from new. Never assembled. Had no rust.

Yes, very well done. Did you have help putting everything together ? I can't see just one person doing this. Sometimes you need 4 hands.

No just me. had it on a car hauler, lifted it off with the garage lift.... mounted it on the rotissary, did the body work, painted it, and assembled it. Took about 4 month.
