I know there is a difference between the A-1 and the A-2 belts due to the different crank pulleys ,does anyone know the NAPA number of the A-1 and the A-2 belts? Thanx

I just made the immediate area red on the tip of the horn red and kept the high heat away from the large portion of the head, those are very good ideas too Rick.

Connecting Rod and Main Bearings

While doing a freshen up on some mutt engines I was wondering if you guys would just install new bearings or just leave the originals in, I am noticing a little wear on the inserts but the crank is smooth and shiny, so is it SOP to install new while its apart or leave well enough alone.
