coil is in the distributor.....if it is an A-1 or an A-2 check the wire from the hot wire lead going into the distributor, through the small component that is mounted on the side of the distributor behind the four little screws.The wire that attatches to the coil fromthat rectifier sometimes breaks ...

If it is an A-2 the rear trailing arms develop slop in the pivot points. Grab the rear wheel after jacking an shake front to rear, if it chucks bak and forth it will generate a lot of noise

It's a spark arrestor, to avoid the possibility of explosion if you hit it against your fillings while drinking in an explosive atmosphere. Check T.M.320-112-wtf

I found out and this is my personal experience, when titleing a "jeep" ,that jeep is a brand name....would you register it as a "jeep" Jeep.There are exceptions to every rule, so do what works for you. Also every Motor Vehicle office is different too, some are cooperative and some dig in their heels...

Remember ,when registering a mutt ,I always get a receipt that says demilled right on it ,secondly under type of vehicle, never put jeep, it is a light truck. For manufacturer ,I put down AMG or Ford and never had trouble in New York

all of your wheel cylinders may be stuck, if you loosten one bleeder screw and pump your brakes and fluid comes out it may not be your mc......at which I would remove the wheel cyls. 1 at a time and disassemble and clean or replace as necessary. Well I'm real curious guys.....how often do mil-spec plugs really need to be changed? I have never noticed a receeding electrode "unlike my hairline" on any older mil vehicle i have ever worked on. I mean if the ceramic inside the plug is good and uncompromised why change them....I just dont see how...
