Re: WTB M416 Trailer

I sold a m416 to a guy from Tennessee, or Kentucky, or there abouts. So he drove from there to pick it up and back. The grease in the wheel bearings looked good(1964 made trailer) grease looked military too!!He had no problems.

Re: 68 M-151A2 w/trlr on CL 6,500

Here's what I remember for the sequence--1950's Willy made the 151, then Ford got the contract, then Kaiser, A1,(which was Willy renamed), then the A2s- Ford, then AMG. I have a document somewhere. My memory is fragmented LOL!!

Re: Dec 7, 1941

I had 2 or 3 uncles who fought in WW2-- Gradacanal, Peleliu, New Guinea etc., they had a lasting hatred of the Japanese until they died. They would have nothing to do with them, in the later life.

Re: Future 151 hauler

I bought a toyota sea breeze, got 8, 9 miles to the gallon, this was to be my lodging while working, on the road. The big problem was to park it at a camper place they charged me more than staying at a motel.Plus I had to unhook the sewer/electric in AM to go to work, etc.Had a 6 cylinder in it, had ...

Re: Good deal on random gun stuff

Using a M14 for 800 yards would give you better accuracy I would think.I wonder if that rifle is still in use?

Re: roll over

15--20 MPH is how fast I turn a corner in town, on a highway curve maybe 40MPH.So the trailer is the key factor in that it pushed the mutt over in a down hill turn?I see it is an A2 which I thought had more stability than a 151?

Re: trail riding

I'll mention I put the spare tire underneath the rear end of the trailer, I did mount it using m38A1 tire mount, but thieves took it, just like they got in my sheds, took stuff.

Re: M151A2 ROPS Installation

On my A2, I removed the ROPS,(welded a round patch in the holes in body) I was going to put the Canadian version on(no go as couldn't find one). Now I wish I'd kept it/on.
