Re: Pre photobucket crash pictures

Maybe I am missing something but whenever I look up Surface Zero it always comes back to G503. The opening page of surfacezero.com IS the G503 Photo Album. The word surfacezero appears in the URL ONLY. I have no qualms using the site since I've been a customer of Ron Fitzpatrick Jeep Parts for many...

Re: Pre photobucket crash pictures

I'm with George & Cobra on this.... Have used surfacezero for years now and have several hundred HMV related pics stored there. The site is FREE, run by fellow HMV enthusiasts and the storage space has no limit. Never had a problem providing pics to the multiple sites that I visit. Thanks G503.com

Re: M151A2 FAV at Dover Air Force Base Air Show & Open House

Thanks Ken, for that information!!! Your expertise is always welcome and always spot-on. Much appreciated. And I think we would all love to see any pictures that you might have. I do know that the front bumper seemed shorter than a standard A2 Army bumper. Based on this information from Ken and rece...

Re: M151A2 FAV at Dover Air Force Base Air Show & Open House

Wow Rick, thank you for your insight! Did you ever get a chance to take pictures? Since this event was an open house & air show, the general public was allowed in free, could only access the base via the North Gate and were only allowed out on the flight line and no-where else on base. That sign on ...

M151A2 CAV at Dover Air Force Base Air Show & Open House

Our Fort Miles Motor Pool Group had the honor & privilege to participate in the awesome Air Show at Dover AFB yesterday. Along with our usual assortment of post-war HMV's, one of our members brought his rare M151A2 CAV (Combat Assault Vehicle). This little gem quickly became the star attraction of o...

Re: the 4th of July.....

Ken & All.... In honor of the 4th of July, we entered our Fort Miles HMV's into the Independence Day Parade in Bethany Beach, DE. The weather was hot and we got lots of "thumbs up" and "salutes" along the parade route. We had two Mutts to represent the era and had fun..... Beach traffic in town was ...

Re: Get Well Soon

Welcome to the Club, Rick.... The Club no one really wants to join!!! I had the same crap in 2014 and statistics back then indicated that one out of seven men will be affected. Even our Veterinarian's advice back then was "get the damn thing OUT". I've been just fine for 5 years since then but the d...

Re: M151 collection pictures

Awesome!!!! We form-up directly behind the DE National Guard vehicles at the front of the parade. In our eyes, the more vehicles we can muster..... the better!!!! Pictures of the event will be shared here.....

Re: M151 collection pictures

Charlie.... The paint jobs look good... just in time for our July 4th Parade this year. Hope you can bring both jeeps for the event and I agree with you on the Gillespie paint. I've been using that brand on my jeeps for well over a decade now. The 24087 on my M38 is weathering well but I'll need to ...

Re: Xenon Searchlight (not mine)

Hi Horst, The "ewillys.com" website has been around for years primarily to discuss all issues concerning the old Willys jeep and every model ever built. The website owner will search "for sale ads" throughout the country and post these daily as a service to his readers. The 151 series is viewed by m...

Re: Help identyfing my M151A2

Check the date stamped on the horn and look for any evidence that the horn assy. is NOT original to the vehicle. ie. Do the mounting bolt heads look undamaged?
