Re: Pls advice A2 marking

Dan, Mark, thank you for your comment and advice. I see that 2nd ACR still exists, located in Vilseck, Germany. Based on your comment, it doesn't make sence to put marking on A2? I will not apply camo, just whole green oliv color. Andrew, here are some photos of 151's in Germany in the 70's most ha...

So relax, and take it easy..............at least until I finally realize my perennial New Year's Resolution of conquering the planet and enslaving the entire human population. When that happens, you should be VERY AFRAID. :!:   https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bIZoVO8ZyyQ  dan...

Correct me if I am wrong but didn't they stop marking the outsides of the vehicles except for subdued bumper markings in the mid 70's?

You are correct, no markings with cammo or flat black if any were needed.

Re: engine

That is the sender but the end has been broken off of it. After enlarging the pic I see a nut on there and I am wondering if someone put a civilian sender in there? There is no threaded piece coming out past the nut so it still looks broken to me. The nut and a flat washer would have held the rubbe...

Re: Brake drum from Jeep CJ??

Francesco, they most likely are 151 drums , open this link and go to page 142 and look at Figure 66, a lot of the drums had the extra holes and the spindles had 2 threaded holes for screws that held the drum, you can see both in figure 66. I think they stopped doing that when the A-2 wheel lug nuts ...

Re: Engine Rebuild Question

They are "Hen's Teeth" I lost 1 when I did my motor and ended up taking one out of a old block that lost a rod and punched a hole in the side. They do come with new piston's and pin kit.
