Are you sure that is a recovery vehicle? I was under the impression they were support vehicles for the 155 self propelled howitzers. They were used for changing out barrels. That boom is nowhere near strong enough for recovery operations. Yes they were Light recovery vehicle's . :D :twisted: :roll:...

Now that sounds logical. When I bought this project it was missing the outer bearing. I wonder how the heck to get my issue fixed. !! BYW, I know I am also going to need another drum. There are two different sizes needed if I recall correctly.
The 4 in the block are the same size, the one in the back of the head is smaller.

When I did my garage up in Baltimore about 15 years back I used Rust-Oleum Epoxy Shield from The Home Depot. was still looking good when I moved to Florida 5 years later.

The notches go to the front and lineup with the seat mounts.

The 2nd photo looks like the Ignition on/off switch that go's in the dash, the 1st photo looks like the high/low head light switch. that gets mounted on the floor, the other floor switch would be for the starter and the wires for it are held on with nuts and star lock washers not plugin. dan-2beers....
