Re: GPA in large numbers
Wow, What a picture. Back in the 70’s I used to see rows of M38A1s lined up at Ft Hood, Tx and Ft Sam, Tx. Most got picked over by Govt. Agencies first, then went to a Surplus Disposal to be sold off (Prior to DRMO (Defense Reutilization and Marketing Office).
I finally found one at a surplus dealer in San Antonio for $1300.00 (Very high price in the 70’s, 1973 I think, but I was the coolest guy in the neighborhood. Those were the good old days.

I have an engine block from a GPA (one that is cracked and destitute, of course) but I reckon that engine block officially makes me a part owner of a SEEP.
