It's kind of hard to tell from that picture but it doesn't appear that there is much room for error for the person stacking the trucks.

At least in the front the support goes pretty far back under the bumper so I am guessing the rear is the same. TJ, You have to think in military terms, High and tight!

They are very early straight 151's with the magnesium wheels. They have registration numbers on them so they have been assigned somewhere, I am wondering if they were test units.

It has to be a storage rack, can't be for painting due to the proximity of the fully assembled and ready to go other vehicles. The rack is not on wheels so not portable. Drying rack after undercoating? I did not think they even undercoated them that early but there it is, looks like they did it with the tires on too. But again, why stack them to dry if the stuff will drip on the one below? Still waiting to hear from Ken on the numbers.
