I picked up this antenna mount at a flea market a few weeks ago and wanted to know what was the approximate time frame that this one was introduced. I know it is an earlier one but was curious as to when it was introduced. I have a later style on my MUTT and was planning to replace it with this one....

Aluminum or steel? Early 60's up into the 80's. I have seen some with angled holes and most with strait holes on the bottom, I think that was more of a manufacturer brand thing than year.

Ok . Thanks. I was not sure what the deal was with them.. I currently have one with the square cutouts on it and wanted an earlier look on my 151 ....

Re: Antenna Mount dates
The very early 151 used a different antenna and mount, I do not remember the name of it but maybe someone will chime in with it. It used the rectangular antenna base.

A few photos from 1962 in Germany, a little hard to see the mounts. The mounts would also be determined by the series of radio that is being used.
