There is someone making floors for 416's, I just saw them not too long ago.

The first set of A2 rear fender supports will be welded tomorrow. I'll post some pictures and send them out for test fitting next week.

First set of M151A2 rear fender supports are now welded up and will be sent out for test fitting as I do not have an A2. The straight M151 front fender tops are now at our weld department. I'll get some pictures up this week.

Here are the A2 supports. As some of you know, the A2 has some stiffener ribs down the length. We have some tooling that might work but at this point I don't think it's a show stopper not to have them. I don't want to have a ton of money in tooling for the amount of these that we'll sell. I'd have no problem using them myself. Maybe not as stiff as the original but I'm thinking close enough. I'm open to thoughts.

Tool Box dividers are now on order in the shop. Making 20 pcs, should be available for the Sussex show. $50 each, includes the (2) brackets where it mounts to the side panel.

So I've been hearing for several years that the A1 and A2 side panels are "different". While at Sussex, TJ and I measured an A1 and A2. Guess what? They are different - by around 1/4" with the A2 being longer. I think I have enough of my A1 that I can tell where the difference is and if the angles are the same.

On the rear fender supports I see that you welded two pieces to make a single part. On an earlier piece you hammered the rib to the breaking through point then bent the part and it aligned up well. Wouldn't it be less labor intensive (cheaper, maybe for all of us) to do the same with the fender support?

I was not happy with the quality of the part with the first method and that is why I went with the welded on piece. It was wishful thinking on my part that the first attempt would work but with the weld fixtures we made the labor involved is minimum and the part quality is better.

The A2 fender supports are different length and the flange where they meet the fender top is longer. 151 and A1 I believe are the same with the exception of the A1 Passenger side due to black out light.

Working on the A2 version of the rear panel. Some of you on here will recognize the sample parts. There are several little differences between the A2 and A1. I'm using the A1 drawing as the base line and creating the A2 drawing. We've talked about the variation between different bodies before - the side flange dimension on the two sample A2 parts have about a .200" difference between the two! When you try to keep dimensions within .020" this drives you nuts!
